Wow, is all I can say, I walked into the UPS store tonight with my labeled packages I said hello and none of the three employees said anything in return. I laid my packages on the counter and said thank you and there was no response from any of them not thank you not you’re welcome nothing.! So strange.
Extremely helpful. I had to return a very large package that was heavy and the dimensions were different. They carried it in the store for me because it was really heavy. And they accommodated me and helped me through my questions and the process.
Above and beyond customer service! We used UPS to move our daughter to NYC. I had extremely great service in helping me determine the best way to save money in sending her household goods. Unfortunately, a box and its contents were damaged during shipping. I took the photos of the damage and Amber even filled out a claim for repayment. When UPS would not pay to replace the items that were broken (even though I paid for extra insurance!) our local UPS store owner wrote a check to cover the shipping costs that I had incurred. How crazy that our local store was willing to make ammends for something that wasn't their fault and a huge company like UPS wasn't willing to take responsibility for the damage that happened under their watch? I am thankful for the integrity of the Waterloo UPS store owner and staff.
The owners made getting my daughter moved to FL so easy. They offered their packing expertise and suggestions to minimize my shipping expenses while protecting my daughter’s belongings. Don’t know how I would have gotten her moved without their help. They definitely went above and beyond!
I despise taking my Amazon returns to this store.
The phone signal is terrible in that area of town, and last time I checked they didn't offer guest wifi. I'm hoping I'm wrong about that but I found out the hard way there's no signal.
Make sure you take screen shots of your return codes before you go in there, or you will be waiting for eternity to get a signal on your phone.
The other thing is how these people nickel and dime you when you get in the store. I understand that this is their business, but when they tell you different things each time you visit, you begin to wonder about their motivations.
And also, there are signs all over the store about how people can't use the equipment -- they have to wait for help or about how there is a minimum purchase requirement.
For the love of God, save your Amazon bags and boxes until you are sure you don't need them, otherwise you'll have to buy one there for their inflated prices.
